Hey there folks, I feel funny today after I’ve watched a video (yeah from YouTube) as I can totally relate to it. After all these years trying to make money online, I still consider myself a newbie. I think I’ll keep on calling myself a newbie until I start making at least $1000 monthly from online earnings alone. Anyway, just wish to share the video below (my story follows thereafter)
I remember the very first days when I signed up for Google Adsense. That was like 10 years ago. I admit clicking on my ads and guess what, my account was closed. Geez, what would I expect? I was using blogger back then and I thought exactly like Zoobie. Even better, before I got my “first” adsense account, I was so excited to making money online that I’d read through any info I can get online from sunset to sunrise and to think that I was still using dial-up then. So imagine my internet bill. The only difference between me and Zoobie is that Google didn’t call me nor did they confiscate my computer. Hehehehe.
Well, there ya go. To all the Zoobies out there, let’s keep this lesson in mind.
Philippine blogger idol Abe Olandres agrees to sell the Pinoy Top Blogs project to Enthropia Philippines after several months of negotiation. According to him, “It’s a decision that was very hard to make but I figured that the future of the project will be more secured with the new owners.”
It appears that he can no longer handle the project due to escalating problems such as server issues, time, and finances. While it is sad that Abe will no longer be “holding” Pinoy Top Blogs, I think it’s still a good and wise move for the benefit of the majority.
But what is Pinoy Top Blogs all about? Why buy it in the first place?
Pinoy Top Blogs is well, a website that lists the top Pinoy blogs based on unique hits and monthly hits. That’s basically it. But why buy it? Well, traffic is one main reason to buy it. Internet traffic is a much coveted goldmine for all internet marketers. Where there’s traffic there’s money It’s as simple as that. Will it make money for the new owner? I’m not sure as Abe himself says that the site is not making any revenue at all. Whatever reason Enthropia has to buy it must be good… after all why would they buy it if they didn’t see potential in it…
Anyway, congratulations to Abe and good luck to Enthropia.
